Artistic Gymnastics

Artistic gymnastics is a sport for men and women performed on apparatus and judged individually. Men’s events are floor exercise, horizontal bar, parallel bars, pommel horse, still rings and vault. Women’s events are vault, uneven parallel bars balance beam and floor exercise. Artistic gymnasts perform short routines mostly lasting approximately 45 to 90 seconds on different gymnastics equipment, and only a few seconds (4 – 5 seconds) per vault.

Rhythmic Gymnastics

A form of gymnastics emphasizing dance-like rhythmic routines.

Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport in which individuals use one or two pieces of apparatus: rope, hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon, and freehand (no apparatus). Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that combines elements of balletgymnasticsdance, and apparatus manipulation.  Physical abilities needed by a rhythmic gymnast include strength, power, flexibility, agility, dexterity, endurance and hand-eye coordination.

Toddlers Gymnastics:

Not only do we help teach all of the above, but we also add in educational activities, learning colors, shapes, numbers and hand and eye co-ordination.

All of this is done in fun activities so it will be super fun for toddlers to learn all these new things. At the end of classes action songs are played so that toddlers can associate with instructions and carry out instructions in a fun way.

Classes take Place on a Saturday morning and are approximately 30 or 40 minutes long.

Tumbling Gymnastics

In gymnastics, tumbling, also known as power tumbling, is an acrobatic sporting discipline which combines some of the skills of artistic gymnastics on the floor with those of trampolining. It is practiced on a 25-meter long spring track sometimes.
This sport is practiced by both men and women. Competitors perform two passes, each containing eight skills along the track.
